Staff

Dr. Andrew Hong has been providing complete veterinary care for Tampa, Lutz and the surrounding area since 1989. He attended Seoul National University, where he received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine Degree as well as a Master of Science Degree in veterinary clinical science and internal medicine. In 1982 he attended the University of Missouri at Columbia, where he received his Master of Science Degree in Veterinary Pathology. Also Dr. Hong finished his course at Chi Institute and became Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist in 2016. He loves to practice herbal medication and acupuncture on patients with chronic disease. He enjoys playing golf on the weekends and he is also interested in classical guitar. He has two dogs and one cat;  Onami (Maltese), Grace (Shiba Inu – left), and Elena (feline). He exercises his dogs by running them two miles every morning before coming to the office to ensure that they are as healthy as they can be. He is also a member of the ARAV (Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians).

Audrey has always had an interest in animal care since the age of 7. It wasn't until highschool that she discovered her interest in medical sciences, and has since then aspired to be a veterinarian. She is currently attending USF on a pre-veterinary track. Audrey also has some furry pets of her own at home: a potcake named Molly and a domestic shorthair named Sylvia.

Christian has been surrounded by all sorts of animals his whole life. He one day wants to take his career and learning down the path of psychology to help people. He's the proud owner of an amazing Calico cat named Arya.

Johanna was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and now resides in Tampa, FL, which melds well with her love for the ocean. She is a Gemini who loves animals and people, and she has a small chihuahua mix named Mama who is spoiled with love, along with several other pets at home that all get along well. 'Dr. Hong is amazing and so is the staff. I've always wanted to become a marine biologist but as long as I'm around animals that's all that matters!'

Lexie has grown up with many different types of animals from snakes to sheep! She has always had a special place in her heart for animals. Little Lexie would’ve been proud to know that she was one day going to work with them! Her dream is to one day own a farm filled with lots of furry friends!

Theju has loved animals for as long as she can remember. Growing up, she always knew she wanted a future surrounded by furry friends, and her younger self would be proud to see her now, following her heart and building a career in animal care. She is currently a student at the University of South Florida majoring in Animal Science, working toward her dream of helping animals in a medical setting. At home, she has a sweet Lab–Retriever–Pit mix named Zoe, who is her spoiled best friend and constant source of joy.
